yeah it's the new yr of 2010!
I had a pleasant surprise on 31Dec2009 =)
LX came back and was waiting for us ( me & Cher ) at the hong kong cafe at bugis where we suppose to have dinner with ah yee & ying ying...
no wonder ah yee say that day she can only meet us for dinner. she was bz planning another surprise... she had to go to buy the cake alone for none of us should know that lx is coming back. no wonder ah yee weird weird de. haha i sort of thought it will be like tat but didnt really give it much tot. it just goes to show how well ah yee can keep secrets? haha but bcox of this surprise, i had a great countdown with them =) we saw the fireworks too, yes at bugis iluma! there is this rooftop that has nice view & carpet grass. but we were blocked by 2 buildings la, luckily we still see fireworks and didnt have to squeeze through the crowd.

so 2010 is here finally!! we talk til about 1am plus and took mrt home. luckily there is still LRT back... and we arranged to meet up on the 1st day of 2010 for dinner together, to be specific home-cooked dinner!!
a great dinner to start the yr with, most dishes were infused with my fav... alcohol!!! hee =)

starters- salmon with biscuits...for me, they did salad with thousand island sauce, alittle but of pepper & salt...

Main course: Vegetarian Pasta with Vodka ( didnt taste much difference... )
so we tried, Vegetarian Pasta with Tiger BEER! for once, tiger beer tasted nicer than VODKA!!!

Side Dishes: Chicken with mushroom in lots of TIGER BEER!!
Mushrooms with lots of pepper & salt...

Desert: Ice-cream with Bailey and cake =)

my 1st time trying so many dishes with alcohol!!!
then we had lots of cocktails....
as a result, the following happened:

loti: became a bit drunk, tired but luckily still able to wash plates, didn't drop dead at cher house. pronounce Lemon as Li-Mon


Cher: dunno what she talking about...haha..

Ying: tired & sleepy & while we chatted she went out of topic.. haha

Lx: she whole face red red! bully sundae (cher's dog)...

Ah Yee: extremely quiet, like anytime will cry.

haha it was still fun, trying all the creations of cher, and 1 of lx "medicine" & we also anyhow mixed in the end... maybe that is y we gt abit drunk. haha...
i am so looking forward to another gathering again while lx is still in spore!!!

i hope i can find my rose ring, hope is just sumwhere at cher house. kinda really like it...

after all this, 2nd Jan is NUA at home, slacking at home day =)
